The Opportunity: (Remote)
The senior solution architect is a key technical leader responsible for ensuring the design integrity, engineering accuracy, and overall technical quality of LG's large and complex audio-visual and digital display projects. This role spans both pre-sales and post-sales design activities, ensuring every solution meets client requirements, aligns with budget parameters, and upholds LG's standards for excellence.
In the pre-sales phase, you will collaborate with sales, project management, and solution engineering/solution enablement teams to develop and validate the bill of materials (bom) and scope of work (sow) that define each project. You will ensure that all proposed components, labor estimates, and system elements accurately reflect the client's technical requirements, environmental conditions, and integration complexity. Your expertise will guide opportunity qualification, risk assessment, and design feasibility throughout the proposal stage.
In the post-sales phase, you will take ownership of the detailed system design process, creating comprehensive documentation such as system schematics, av signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, network layouts, and integration details. You will serve as the design authority, leading design reviews, coordinating with engineering and field teams, and ensuring that the delivered system performs as intended from concept through commissioning.
As the technical gatekeeper, you will safeguard design consistency and accuracy across all deliverables, maintaining alignment between the client's vision, LG's technical capabilities, and the project's execution plan. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by refining design standards, documentation templates, and engineering workflows for scalability and efficiency.
