Group Product Manager, Identity

This role can be based in Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As Group Product Manager for Identity, you will lead the product strategy and execution for key parts of this foundation. You will manage and grow a team of 3 - 4 PMs, partner with world-class engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers, and work cross-functionally with AI, Trust, and product teams across the company. Your mandate will be to strengthen LinkedIn's position as the most comprehensive and credible professional identity platform on the internet.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for professional identity at LinkedIn.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers to deliver member and business impact.
  • Partner deeply with engineering, AI/ML, design, and trust teams to deliver scalable, high-quality identity experiences.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify unmet needs and translate them into clear priorities and roadmaps.
  • Apply data analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses, measure progress, and guide investment.
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and outcomes to executives, cross-functional partners, and the broader company.
  • Champion member trust, authenticity, and belonging in every decision.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree in a technology related field OR equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer product or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • MS degree in a technology-related field
  • Significant experience building consumer products, and managing and leading change at consumer platform products.
  • Ability to build deep partnerships with other teams
  • Proficient in data analysis and A/B testing
  • Proficient in using AI tools and in building prototype products.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $185,000 to $299,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
