Director Of Relationship Marketing

The Director of Relationship Marketing reports to the Vice President of Relationship Marketing in developing Maryland Live! Casino as the premier gaming and entertainment venue in the Market. Grows actual slot and table revenues annually, consistent with property plan. Improves program margin through management of reinvestment and other expenses. Implements and capitalizes on corporate, division and property VIP player's initiatives, including VIP players contact management objectives. Maintains strong service culture with high employee and guest satisfaction levels. The Director of Relationship Marketing is responsible for the successful operation of the Relationship Marketing Team.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develops and manages the budget for Relationship marketing.
  • Develops programs, processes and events to attract and retain VIP players to choose Maryland Live! Casino and their primary venue for gaming and entertainment.
  • Develop and manage programs and processes with a return on investment and player attraction and retention that exceeds the competition.
  • Develop and manage open communications and excellent working relationships with peer groups from all operational areas. Know and be known by peer group.
  • Responsible for working with marketing to schedule and execute VIP promotions, events, and programs for slot, domestic and Asian table games players.
  • Hire, train, and track production of Player Development teams. Build a sales culture including measurement.
  • Developing and managing programs and processed for customer service and recognition of VIP players with emphasis on VIP players new and repeat.
  • Monitor and adjust performance to local competition meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Provides training, interviews for hire, prepare schedules and conducts performance evaluations of the Relationship Marketing Team individual performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in player tracking systems.
  • Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
  • Knowledgeable of credit process and procedures.

Must-Haves:

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years' experience in gaming, Relationship Marketing, casino operations or marketing.
  • Casino industry experience is required.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Maryland Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand 40% of the time
  • Ability to sit 60% of the time
  • Use of stairs and elevators
