As part of our 21st Century Security vision, Lockheed Martin is investing in advancing multi-function sensing capabilities. Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-function aperture & multi-function processing technologies through research, development, & demonstrations.

Our team is seeking a dynamic Digital Hardware Engineer to lead the development & implementation of CCAs for use in advanced sensor architectures in size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) constrained environments. In this role, you will serve as a lead engineer on enterprise board designs to architect, prototype, demonstrate and transition technology to Flexible Communications, Radar, and Electronic Warfare (FlexCREW) systems.

A level 4 employee is typically senior-career and has 7 to 9+ years of professional experience.

What You Will Do (The Work):

  • Lead development of advanced digital hardware capabilities
  • Collaborate with Systems, RF and Firmware teams to prototype and demonstrate the capabilities
  • Participate in enterprise roadmap development working with novel internal custom, strategic partner, and COTS digitizer components

Please note: You will work out of our Moorestown, NJ location, & report to our Converged Sensors organization. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Top Secret level.

Desired skills:

  • Master's degree or higher in relevant field
  • Understanding of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Communications systems
  • Prior experience in the defense industry or related field
  • Knowledge of Agile & DevSecOps methodologies
  • Demonstrate verbal & written communication skills

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $110,500 - $198,422.
