The Work: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the cross-functional Scalable S-Band Radar organization and drive commonality and efficiency across programs as a product. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives to drive obsolescence closure, support production efficiencies, optimize and secure production capacity, ensure supplier viability, and implement cost reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will brief RSS and MDCS leadership on plans, progress, and status routinely. Specific job requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Establish Program plans for the Scalable S-Band Radar Product organization
  • Address Cross-program Scalable S-Band Radar risks and issues
  • Develop and exploit Cross-program Scalable S-Band Radar opportunities
  • Establish close working relationships with the cross-functional team leadership and capture teams
  • Oversee development of future focused technical Roadmaps and integrated PSMS for each Product area including inter-program dependencies
  • Work with Capture teams to develop Scalable S-Band Radar estimating strategy
  • Support RFI Responses/Bid-No Bid input for future Scalable S-Band Radar future business
  • Develop and execute strategies to resolve obsolescence, support production, and optimize production capacity via digital transformation
  • Ensure supplier viability and develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving product quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Scalable S-Band Radar solutions that meet customer needs and drive business results
  • Analyze current production and supply chain outputs to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs

Who You Are: As the Scalable S-Band Radar Program Manager, you will lead and support establishment of the Scalable S-Band Radar Product Execution team. You will have experience working with internal Program Management customers and leading a program team through establishing an organization change including team building, process development, and driving execution of Product specific scope. You will have experience leading a cross-functional team and deep operations management and supply chain experience.

Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
