Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative project development and design solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: York, Pennsylvania

Pay Range: $60000 - $90000

What's the Job?

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings based on project specifications and requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering models and drawings
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to optimize solutions
• Support the testing and validation of mechanical components and assemblies

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or design
