This role is critical: your design decisions will directly influence hiring velocity, candidate quality, workforce management adoption, conversion rates, and the long-term health of the platform. You'll collaborate across product, engineering, HR, talent acquisition, and operations translating messy human-resource realities into clean, scalable design systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead UI/UX design for our labor marketplace across web and mobile.
Map user journeys for candidates, employers, recruiters, and workforce managers.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools (Figma preferred).
Build a cohesive design system that supports speed, scalability, accessibility, and brand consistency.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers on feature definition, workflow design, and sprint planning.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and streamline hiring flows.
Use data-driven insights to optimize conversion funnels, reduce friction, and lift engagement.
Design dashboards, onboarding flows, scheduling tools, messaging interfaces, and profile pages tailored to employer and worker personas.
Support continuous improvement of talent-acquisition features such as job posting, search, matching, scoring, and identity verification.
Solve complex workforce challenges (availability, pay rates, compliance, onboarding, hiring velocity) through elegant UX solutions.

3–5+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally with marketplaces, HR tech, gig-economy platforms, ATS/CRM systems, or workforce products.
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design, especially conversion-driven flows.
Expertise in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.
Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, human-centered solutions.
Comfortable working with product metrics (drop-off points, CTA conversion, time-to-complete, etc.).
Comprehensive understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
Skills & Attributes:
Experience designing labor or talent marketplaces, staffing platforms, gig or shift-based workforce apps, or B2B SaaS.
Knowledge of HRIS, ATS, CRM, onboarding, identity verification, or scheduling systems.
Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints (React, component libraries, etc.).
Motion/interaction design skills.
Passion for human-centered design and solving real-world workforce challenges.
Strong collaboration mindset, working seamlessly across product, engineering, and operations.
Analytical thinker who leverages data to drive design decisions.
Creative problem-solver with a knack for simplifying complexity into intuitive experiences.

This job operates in a professional office environment.
