Pharmacy Marketing Intern

Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch and Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you'll be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year.

Key Accountabilities

  • Update the letter inventory - we currently have a library of all the letters we currently use. This is a living library and so we need to meet with all the various teams to ensure that we have the latest and greatest letters in our library, delete any that have been sunset, and add any new letters that have been implemented. ESI, Navitus, Prime, Other
  • Review all the letters for accuracy - This would be checking for updates, changes, branding, regulatory, appeal attachments, etc.
  • Create P&P for updating letters for all LOB - Making sure that moving forward we have a well documented process for any changes, specifically regulatory, replacements, new NOA, etc Commercial most important
  • Create P&P and training with ROBOHEAD - Help the team to use this application and document the process

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related degree. Since this is in the Pharmacy space, we are also open to Pharmacy related degrees of study.

Skills and Abilities

  • The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working with documentation and synthesizing information into clear summaries. Prior healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Robohead a plus

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $34,100 - $43,900. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
