Licensed Social Worker (LISW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Psychiatry: Women's Reproductive Behav Health
Seeking a full time Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to work in our Women's Reproductive Behavioral Health Division, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at MUSC. The candidate will work collaboratively within an integrated behavioral health program and provide evidence-based psychotherapies to pregnant and postpartum women with mental health and substance use disorders. The position entails providing psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and Relapse Prevention, as appropriate, to peripartum women with mental health and substance use disorders. The candidate may also at time provide brief supportive therapy and therapy for perinatal grief and loss. Services are provided in-person or via telemedicine. The candidate is responsible for communicating with the mental health, obstetric and/or pediatric providers to ensure care is coordinated and treatment plans are communicated effectively to all involved providers.
