This position leads, develops and delivers the communications and marketing strategy for the college, directing the communications and marketing program design and execution. Develops greater awareness of and engagement in the college's mission, programs and services among current and prospective audiences, including patients, students, employees, dental associations, alumni, donors, and other stakeholders. Responsible for establishing annual objectives for the communications and marketing function, effectively leveraging strategic channels to meet objectives, analyzing outcomes, managing projects, creating content, and leading the communications and marketing team. This position works independently on projects prioritized by the Assistant Dean of Finance and Admin and the Dean of the college, works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the college to identify needs and drive change across a growing organization, and supervises the Communications Coordinator. This position is able to balance needs of stakeholders and proactively build relationships with partners across the enterprise (communications, marketing, public affairs, brand, development, web and clinical office teams).
