Meta is seeking a Research Scientist Intern to develop next generation AR displays with the use of optical and electromagnetic simulations and lead prototyping efforts to prove proof of principle concepts. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16), or twenty-four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Develop next generation AR displays with the use of optical and electromagnetic simulations and lead prototyping efforts to prove proof of principle concepts.

Collaborate with the larger Meta Reality Labs Research team to explore novel solution space for AR devices.

Explore applications of active photonic integrated circuits and similar nano-photonic devices in simulation or with experiments to develop a near eye display.

Publish research results in internal organizations, conferences, patents and contribute to research that can be applied to Meta product development.
