Job Description

Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned clients, building strong, trusted partnerships. Conduct proactive outreach to educate current and potential clients on available products and services. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers to drive satisfaction and retention. Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional solutions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions. Maintain accurate client account information and prospect updates within the CRM system. Manage contract renewals, ensuring timely completion while maximizing revenue potential. Monitor market trends and competitive activity to uncover growth opportunities. Develop strategic account plans with clear objectives, tactics, and timelines. Gather client feedback to drive continuous improvement across products and services. Identify and address churn risks by resolving customer challenges promptly. Analyze sales data to optimize territory strategy and performance. Maintain a client retention rate of 90% or higher.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. 4-7 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success. Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and maintaining strong retention rates. Background in software, technology, media, publishing, or design-related markets preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience with account and territory management strategies. Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus). Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
