Project Manager - Design-Build & Commercial Projects - NoVA

The Project Manager - Design-Build & Commercial Projects - NoVA will be responsible for:

• Overseeing commercial interior projects ($1M+) in retail, hospitality, restaurant, office, and daycare sectors, with base building experience as a plus
• Planning, scheduling, and executing projects to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
• Managing subcontractor buyout, sequencing, and contract negotiations
• Coordinating RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
• Building and maintaining strong client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships
• Leading project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Supervising on-site project teams and providing direction to field staff
• Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to ensure profitability
• Utilizing Procore for project management, scheduling, and document control
• Performing quality control reviews and verifying project deliverables
• Resolving conflicts, delays, and issues to keep projects on track
• Reporting project status, risks, and progress to senior leadership
• Mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative company culture

The Project Manager - Design-Build & Commercial Projects - NoVA will have:

• 5+ years managing commercial interior projects $1M+ (retail, hospitality, office, daycare, etc.)
• Base building project experience a plus
• Proficient in Procore and construction management software
• Strong skills in scheduling, buyout, and sequencing
• Experience managing budgets, subcontractors, and project teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
