The Domain POD team is comprised of Splunk product subject matter experts and AI powered instructional designers and portfolio managers. The team is responsible for annual and quarterly enablement plans, establishing learning requirements, supporting in-person events, and crafting innovative onboarding and learning experiences to surprise and delight our collaborators and audience. Your Impact

Agentic Learning Experiences, Content Development & Curriculum Design

  • In collaboration with a domain knowledge expert, develop and maintain core School of Splunk Field Sales Enablement portfolio — including learning paths, agentic interactions and instructor-led experiences, and certifications — with emphasis on the Splunk Digital Resilience Platform, AI upskilling, and Cisco Data Fabric positioning.
  • Design and deliver AI-focused on onboarding and upskilling curricula equipping technical sellers to confidently articulate and differentiate Cisco's AI-driven solutions within the Splunk ecosystem.
  • Integrate critical technical sales skills (presentation, demo, proof-of-concept, whiteboarding, value-based selling) into curriculum for learners to develop mastery. Compose test questions, evaluations, agentic interactions, and scenario-based assessments that validate proficiency.
  • Develop and continuously refresh learning content that reflects the messaging, positioning, competitive landscape and vital technical content related to Splunk platform and Cisco Data Fabric landscape.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work with the GFE Domain Pod SME, role excellence leads, and key stakeholders to develop technical seller training programs.
  • Be the voice of the seller and sales engineer/technical seller in all content planning and design, ensuring sellers can effectively position Splunk as Cisco's Digital Resilience Platform, articulate Cisco's AI strategy, and engage customers in significant Splunk platform conversations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to technical sales stakeholders and SMEs, including AI/ML, Splunk platform, and Cisco Data Fabric subject matter experts.

Program Management & Operations

  • Update and optimize existing GFE training assets to reflect Cisco's current strategic direction for Splunk Platform and new functionality and capabilities.
  • Leverage SME expertise across technical sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and executive staff to deliver high-value learning experiences.
  • Edit and maintain infographics, instruction guides, and webpages; adopt AI-powered learning tools as they become practical.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of curriculum and instructional design experience with a strong portfolio of learning experience and curriculum design work (examples required). 1+ years of experience creating AI driven enablement.
  • Experience crafting Technical Seller Enablement Programs, ideally including AI, platform, security, or data platform-related content.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools and a genuine dedication to continuous learning in this space
  • Experience with virtual, classroom-based, and online eLearning course development
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts — including AI, platform, and data fabric topics — for diverse global audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Moderate to sophisticated understanding of modern IT, Cloud, and Security architecture — including familiarity with AI/ML concepts, platforms such as Splunk, and data fabric or data management architectures
  • Knowledge of the sales engineer/technical seller role, with ability to design content that builds confidence around Splunk's capabilities and our selling methodologies
  • Familiarity with Splunk or comparable SIEM, observability, or security analytics platforms is a strong plus
