Digital Marketing Strategist

Our client in early childhood education is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist for an ongoing contract engagement starting as soon as possible. This is a freelance, 40-hour-per-week role based in Plymouth, MN. The ideal candidate is a senior-level self-starter who can step in immediately and keep marketing operations running smoothly during a team transition, with no direct reports.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain day-to-day execution across digital marketing, social media, and brand initiatives
• Support website updates, campaign management, and vendor relationships
• Monitor and analyze performance across platforms using Google Analytics and other reporting tools
• Manage projects and workflows in Monday.com
• Maintain SOPs and ensure continuity across marketing functions while two full-time roles are being filled
• Support social media strategy, content, and engagement across platforms

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience
• Proven ability to step into fast-moving environments with minimal ramp-up
• Strong background in social media management, analytics, and multi-platform engagement
• Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Sprout Social, WordPress, and Monday.com
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, and campaign management
• Strong understanding of web metrics, landing page optimization, and digital performance
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
