Lead Credit Product Originations Specialist - Vendor Program Relationships Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Product Originations Specialist - Vendor Program Relationships Manager. This role manages and grows a portfolio of Equipment Finance Vendor Programs and serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned vendor partners. The position is responsible for program performance, risk management, and the overall client experience while working closely with credit, legal, operations, risk, and product teams to build and maintain compliant and scalable programs. The role also leads the sourcing, evaluation, and development of new vendor programs. This includes managing program structuring, approvals, and execution from initial engagement through launch. Strong relationship management skills, sound credit judgment, and the ability to lead complex initiatives are essential to supporting sustainable and profitable growth.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver financial solutions to prospective and existing clients by leading execution teams and provide guidance and oversight to pitch, structure, negotiate, and execute highly customized transactions to clients
- Develop or influence objectives, strategy, resources and long-term goals for a portfolio of clients that utilize specialty products and services
- Potentially be assigned a non-contractual territory and responsible for influencing partners to generate and direct deal opportunities to the business
- Lead the preparation of deal proposals and deliver pitches. Act as a primary interface with clients to understand their financial needs and objective and formulate recommendations
- Identify ancillary solutions that meet the client's needs and coordinate interaction with other product partners within the bank (Investment Banking, Wealth Investment Management, Treasury Management, etc.)
- Manage the execution of deals by assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and ensuring accountability for new originations and existing portfolio transactions such as amendments, extensions, and periodic reviews
- Understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid to senior level managers, and develop a relationship with internal partners, including product groups and risk and operations, to achieve business objectives
- Act as a key participant in large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty's business objectives
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ year of Equipment or Vendor related credit or relationship management experience
- Proven ability to structure and negotiate specialized lending transactions and lead the full execution process from pitch to close
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and clearly explain rationale for deal structures
- Demonstrated success collaborating with credit, risk, operations and other bank partners to deliver integrated financial solutions
- Clear, confident communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and supporting strategic program development
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Current requirements are 4 days in-office.

Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
