The Mechanical Designer collaborates closely with engineers to understand project requirements and create accurate two-dimensional and three-dimensional renderings. This role prepares detailed layouts and drawings from sketches, notes, and blueprints, while using CAD and manufacturing systems to support product development. The Mechanical Designer contributes to continuous improvement by meeting deadlines, maintaining high attention to detail, and proactively seeking ways to add value to projects and departmental goals.

Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing-focused engineering environment that relies on design software, manufacturing software, MRP systems, spreadsheet tools, and word processing applications. The Mechanical Designer works closely with engineering personnel and other technical staff, frequently interacting to review and refine designs. Work is primarily computer-based, using automated CAD tools to produce 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and renderings. The position involves managing multiple projects and deadlines in a structured, process-driven setting where attention to detail, accuracy, and collaboration are highly valued.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
