Prefer 3+ years mortgage banking experience with direct experience in product development/management and project management. Experience in working with and in-depth knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, Ginnie Mae, State Housing Authority Bond programs, Federal Home Loan Banks, Rural Housing (RD), USDA, Non-QM, private investor jumbo, and proprietary mortgage products, programs, and guidelines. Requires strong organizational and project management skills (matrix management responsibilities working with other departments and SMEs to coordinate and implement new products, product/policy changes or special projects). Experience and knowledge of SDLC including Waterfall and Agile methodologies is preferable. Requires strong analytical skills, with attention to detail; excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as with team comprised of members from across all Home Mortgage channels/departments. Experience with product and policy rules, regulatory and investor guideline interpretation and communication experience a must. Mortgage operations/underwriting background required, and project management experience preferred. Requires relationship building, management and collaboration skills. Candidate should have experience demonstrating the effective application of those skills across multiple business lines and within various departments.
