Product Sales Specialist: Pagero

As a Product Sales Specialist, this position will play a crucial role in enhancing Thomson Reuters presence and market growth in the Indirect Tax product family. You will be responsible for providing a deep knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and the competitive landscape to influence the product portfolio and marketing teams.

About the Role:

  • Industry Expertise and Market Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape within the Pagero and E-Invoicing product family.
  • Enablement Training and Content Development: Support the development and deliver training programs and materials to educate account managers on the industry, sales strategies, sales tools, competitive intelligence, and best practices to drive successful customer engagements.
  • Go-to-Market Support and Mentorship: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to go-to-market teams, addressing industry- queries and challenges in the Pagero product family.
  • Sales Strategy and Competitive Positioning: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine industry-specific sales strategies, plans, and tactics, including target segmentation, competitive analysis, and value proposition development.
  • Sales Collateral and Demo Preparation: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Customer Strategy: This role combines customer-facing expertise with internal advocacy to drive complex sales and customer success. It involves engaging in customer meetings and presentations to understand business needs, conducting thorough needs assessments, and gathering detailed requirements. The person presents tailored solutions that demonstrate how our products address specific challenges, while acting as a customer advocate with product development and marketing. Additionally, they identify and develop customer success stories and case studies to showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Partnerships & Alliances Collaboration: Collaborate across sales, partnerships, and marketing to plan and execute joint GTM and product marketing campaigns, build strategic partner relationships, participate in account planning, and ensure materials and metrics (e.g., partner attach) align with and support sales strategies.
  • Product Roadmap and M&A Influence, including Product Marketing Coordination: Gather and analyze feedback from account managers, customers and the market to inform the product development team to influence the product roadmap, contribute to the prioritization of features, and continuously improve our solutions and processes; Provide input into M&A strategy and due diligence for prospective targets

About You:

  • You're a fit for the role of Product Sales Specialist, if you have: 15+ years with broad business knowledge including sales, product management, or marketing of software products in the global market; To include 5+years experience in strategic planning using SWOT analysis, benchmarking, and balanced scorecards. Product knowledge on software products to be able to provide analysis of market trends, challenges and opportunities
