Product Specialist

Securian Financial Group's internal position title is Product Specialist. Position Summary: The Client Data Exchange and Integrity (CDEI) team is part of Enterprise Technology (ET). CDEI is responsible for the implementation and operational support of file exchanges with Securian's Employee Benefit Solutions (EBS) clients, partners, and third party administrators. This position is responsible for day-to-day file exchanges and processing of customer data. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Support file exchanges and processing of customer data for Employee Benefit Solutions and Affinity Solutions clients, partners, and third party administrators.

Tracking, monitoring and accurately processing files using the Client File Management (CFM) system.

Ensuring that scheduled file transfer events occur on schedule and that the data from the files are properly processed through CFM.

Work with the enterprise Managed File Transfer solution to set up and maintain secure file transfers.

Analyze and interpret data from clients in order to answer customer questions and process files.

Communicate directly with Securian's EBS clients during annual enrollment as needed when files are not received or data in the files need to be reviewed and verified for accuracy.

Manage workload to meet service level agreements and performance guarantees for both internal and external stakeholders.

Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues relating to the exchange or processing of files in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications: A team player committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet business demands. Comfortable working with large amounts of data in a variety of formats. Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines to meet client performance guarantees and service level agreements. Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of file transfer protocols and industry standard file encryption methods (i.e. PGP, SSL, SSH). Knowledge of EBS and Affinity Solutions insurance products. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with CFM.
