Senior Director, Product Management

The Senior Director, Institutional Product Development, is responsible for the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products and services for Columbia Threadneedle's global institutional clients and global high-net-worth investors. Successful execution of this position requires strong project management skills, significant product development expertise working with traditional and alternative investments, and the ability to develop strong relationships with senior business partners across the Columbia Threadneedle organization. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of the product development life cycle, leading to the successful execution of key product initiatives for institutional and high net worth investors. This includes leveraging industry knowledge and experience to best position Columbia Threadneedle's asset management capabilities and solutions to meet client needs, performing market research and analysis to identify future product development opportunities, ensuring investors can efficiently access Columbia Threadneedle capabilities across a wide array of vehicles, conducting fee benchmarking and profitability analysis, and communicating the product development status to senior leaders across the organization. The role also involves supporting the implementation of new products in close collaboration with senior internal partners and driving other new institutional strategic product initiatives.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, Series 7 (or SIE and Series 7 top off exam) and 66 (or 63 & 65 combined), and a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the financial industry with investment product expertise in institutional funds and/or alternative investments. Preferred qualifications include project management expertise, communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving experience using data to identify trends, issues, and potential solutions.
