Senior Telecom Designer - Remote Eligible

Telecom Documentation & MetaSolv Specialist

We're seeking a Telecom Documentation & MetaSolv Specialist to support and improve documentation governance, MetaSolv data integrity, and revision-control discipline across telecom systems for our Anchorage, Alaska-based client.

This is a 100% remote engagement, working Monday through Friday during standard Alaska business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AKT).

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex technical records and serving as a subject-matter expert in documentation and configuration standards.

Depending on experience, this position may align at a senior or intermediate level.

What You'll Do:

Senior-Level Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale documentation cleanup and repository build-out initiatives
• Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) for MetaSolv structure, usage, and data quality
• Review and approve documentation and MetaSolv changes to ensure compliance
• Define documentation standards, templates, and revision-control processes
• Mentor junior designers and support audits and cross-functional initiatives

Intermediate-Level Responsibilities

• Independently manage documentation repositories and drawing sets
• Perform end-to-end MetaSolv configuration from approved engineering inputs
• Clean, standardize, and modernize legacy documentation
• Enforce documentation and revision-control standards
• Support provisioning, operations, and billing teams through accurate records

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with MetaSolv
• Proficiency in Visio
• Technical documentation and technical writing experience
• Experience working with telecom records and drawing sets
• Familiarity with CAD modeling (preferred)

Experience Level

• Expert-level background preferred (role may be scoped senior or intermediate based on experience)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
