Sr. Instructional Designer

As part of the Customer Experience team, the Sr. Instructional Designer is responsible for creating and delivering world-class educational content to our customers. In this role, you will partner with Implementation, Customer Success, Technical Customer Care, Product Management, and Product Marketing to design innovative learning solutions that drive product adoption, customer retention and internal enablement efforts. Your success is defined by our customers' success in using our products and features, product adoption, decreased time to value and internal workforce readiness. Candidates who live within commuting distance of an HHAeXchange office (e.g., New York, Miami, Minneapolis) are expected to work in a hybrid model, typically 3 days per week in the office and the remaining days remote, subject to business needs. Essential Job Duties

  • Design & Development Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective education & adoption content and experiences. Ensure content and experiences are learner-centric, interactive, and aligned with objectives. Create templates for design tools to ensure compliance with branding and modern design standards. Evaluate content created inside and outside the Instructional Design team for brand compliance, accessibility, and correct use of adult learning concepts.
  • AI Utilization Utilize and implement AI tools as part of your workflow to increase efficiency and accuracy. Leverage AI automations to deliver effective, high quality learning content to our internal and external audiences.
  • Content Creation Design and create various forms of educational & adoption content that provide users with ample opportunities to learn and upskill (e.g., videos, written content, in-app tutorials, multimedia assets, webinars, interactive exercises, presentations, etc.), considering different roles/personas, use cases, levels of experience and technical ability, unique ways of learning, and more. Independently manage large scale projects from intake to delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessments and evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of learning materials and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts and customer facing teams to gather content and feedback, ensuring that content meets the needs of the target audience and content objective. Serve as a senior reviewer and thought partner to other Instructional Designers and Trainers. Coach and mentor others in adult learning concepts and modern design principles
  • Increase Adoption and Retention Create world-class content and educational experiences that are measured by an increase in product and feature adoption and customer retention. LMS Responsibilities Publish, Update, and Organize content within the LMS. Manage the userbase, assignments, and security permissions. Establish best practices and standards for LMS and Knowledge Base administration. Document LMS and KB processes and provide internal education when needed.
  • Other Job Duties Other duties as assigned by supervisor or HHAeXchange leader. Travel Requirements Travel 10-25%, including overnight travel
