Product Manager

At Morgan & Morgan, the work we do matters. For millions of Americans, we're their last line of defense against insurance companies, large corporations or defective goods. From attorneys in all 50 states, to client support staff, creative marketing to operations teams, every member of our firm has a key role to play in the winning fight for consumer rights. Our over 6,000 employees are all united by one mission: For the People.

Summary: At Morgan & Morgan, we're constantly challenging people's idea of what an injury law firm can be, and technology plays a major role in how we serve our clients. We are in a unique position as the largest injury firm in the world to continuously deliver a delightful and consistent experience for people facing the greatest challenge of their lives.

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Product team. We're open to candidates from product management, operations, consulting, or business integration backgrounds – what matters most is a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to drive better business outcomes. You will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery for a defined product area, working in close partnership with Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to ship solutions that measurably improve the experience for our clients and attorneys. This is an in-office position 4 days a week in our Brooklyn office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

As a Product Manager, you will drive clarity, alignment, and delivery across your product area. We value operators and doers over pure strategists – success in this role is measured by what gets built and the outcomes it creates, not the quality of the deck explaining why. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Product Vision & Communication: Define a compelling product vision for your area and communicate it effectively to Engineering, Design, senior leadership, and business partners. Make the "why" behind your priorities clear and motivating.
  • Roadmap Development & Defense: Build and maintain a prioritized, outcome-oriented product roadmap. Make tradeoffs transparent and defend your sequencing decisions with data, user insight, and business context.
  • Delivery Execution: Manage the full product development lifecycle from discovery through launch. Partner with Engineering and Design to write clear requirements, manage the sprint backlog, and keep delivery on track.
  • Backlog & Story Management: Own and continuously groom the product backlog. Ensure user stories are well-defined, acceptance criteria are clear, and tickets are consistently ready for engineering to execute.
  • Success Measurement & Iteration: Define KPIs for every initiative. Track product performance post-launch, identify gaps and opportunities, and drive rapid, data-informed iteration.
  • User & Market Research: Conduct user interviews, analyze behavioral and operational data, and synthesize competitive research to inform strategy and surface new opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on priorities, progress, and blockers. Set expectations proactively and escalate risks early.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Legal. Navigate competing priorities with empathy and pragmatism to keep teams aligned and moving.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product operations, consulting, business integration, or a related role – including PE-backed or high-growth operational environments. Direct product management experience is not required; what matters is a track record of using technology to achieve business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging technology – software, platforms, or data – to solve operational problems, improve workflows, or drive measurable business results.
  • Active use of AI as a force multiplier in your current work – using AI tools to increase personal output, accelerate analysis, and improve decision quality.
  • Proficiency with Jira or a comparable project management tool; comfortable working within an Agile or Kanban delivery environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to produce clear requirements, stakeholder updates, and executive summaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and track KPIs and apply data to prioritization and decision-making.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills – able to build trust and drive alignment across Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders.
  • Executional orientation – you are more energized by shipping and solving than by theorizing. Strong candidates will point to specific things they built, changed, or improved – not just strategies they developed.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing quality.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to the legal industry and technology in law firms.
  • Experience working directly with or integrating Salesforce as a product surface.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery methodologies.
  • Experience at a high-growth or PE-backed organization.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Pendo or similar event tracking platforms.
