Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate for a role of Vice President – Data & Campaign Strategy to join our team in Mumbai. This role requires a seasoned professional with 9–10 years of experience in the core banking domain, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The successful candidate will lead campaign development and email deployment teams while actively contributing to campaign planning, analytics and execution when necessary. The individual will also serve as a key liaison between offshore and onsite teams and work closely with business partners to ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to the campaign development and email deployment teams.
  • Act as a bridge between offshore and onsite teams ensuring seamless communication, alignment on project goals, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data and campaign solutions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end campaign lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
  • Manage the use Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for customer segmentation, journey activation and campaign personalization, ensuring the team executes effectively while providing strategic direction and guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance throughout campaign activities.
  • Apply project management best practices to lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Maintain a primary focus on team leadership and strategic oversight but be prepared to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on when business needs require active involvement.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights derived from post-campaign analysis to drive continuous improvement and business impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 9–10 years of professional experience in data analytics, campaign management, or marketing operations, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, Dataiku, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and data workflow orchestration tools.
  • Proficient in campaign analytics, performance reporting, and optimization methodologies.
  • Experience working with offshore and onsite delivery models.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of delivering high-impact, data-driven initiatives.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud-based data platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for campaign targeting and activation.
  • Familiarity with Python for data automation and analysis.
  • Understanding of financial marketing regulations, data privacy, and compliance standards.
