Brand & Strategic Marketing Photographer, NBC10 Philadelphia

NBC10, Telemundo62 and NBC Sports Philadelphia are looking for a talented Photographer/Editor to elevate the visual storytelling across our triopoly. This is a creative role within our Creative Services team, responsible for capturing and editing high-impact brand, news, commercial, and lifestyle content that drives audience engagement across platforms.

This position is a hands-on shooter and editor, designed to join an existing production team that serves all three stations. The role works under creative direction and is ideal for someone looking to grow within a wide range of projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the visual execution of station marketing campaigns, client commercials, and lifestyle content across NBC10, Telemundo62, and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
  • Serve as a critical roll on a team, assisting at times and leading productions at other times, and acting as a one-man band occasionally based on the scope of the production.
  • Operate cameras, lenses, and lighting setups following established creative direction.
  • Own shoots from concept through execution scouting locations, building lighting setups, and ensuring a polished, premium look.
  • Direct on-camera talent, from station personalities to clients, to deliver authentic and compelling performances.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, writers, and marketing leadership to bring strategic campaigns to life.
  • Help define and maintain the visual brand across all platforms, ensuring consistency, urgency, and impact.

Post-Production & Editing:

  • Edit assigned projects using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Execute basic color correction, audio cleanup, and light motion elements as needed.
  • Deliver content optimized for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in cinematography, photography, or video production preferably in news broadcast, marketing, or agency environments.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates cinematic storytelling, lighting expertise, and advanced editing skills.
  • Comfort taking creative direction and incorporating feedback.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Must have a valid driver's license as well as a clean driving record
  • Must adhere Environmental Health & Safety standards and regulations
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds of equipment at a given time
  • Must be able to stand for at least 2 hours at a time (in breaking news situations, may need to stand for longer periods of time – up to 8 hours)
  • Must be able to maneuver small spaces (in/out of vehicles and to be able to take camera shots in tight spaces)
  • Must be able to sit for up to 2 hours at a time (i.e. for editing purposes)
  • Must be willing to join IBEW Local 98

Desired Characteristics:

  • A dependable shooter/editor with strong fundamentals and an eye for storytelling.
  • Comfortable supporting larger productions while also handling smaller assignments independently.
  • Organized, adaptable and eager to continue developing creative and technical skills.
  • Someone who enjoys working across multiple brands and platforms as part of a collaborative team.
