Lead Producer / Producer

NBCUniversal is looking for a hands-on Lead Producer or Producer to help shape and deliver an ambitious new entertainment project. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings both strategic vision and executional excellence. You will help lead multiple concurrent pillars, applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive progress and ensure delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and team coordination skills, fostering a culture of ownership, clarity, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from concept through launch and live support.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams, emphasizing cross-functional alignment and creative problem-solving.
• Lead multiple scrum teams, manage complex Jira boards, and implement scalable Agile processes.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, monitor progress, and adapt plans as needed.
• Coordinate internal and external pods, including co-development partners, ensuring shared ownership and accountability.
• Deliver clear, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively across disciplines, including gameplay, engineering, art, animation, audio, and others, based on project needs and priorities.
• Manage relationships with co-development studios, vendors, and technology partners.
• Ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables across teams.
• Facilitate seamless integration of partner contributions into production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production experience in game development.
• Strategic mindset with experience in Triple-A development and balancing ambitious projects with delivery precision.
• Deep expertise in Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills with a track record of building collaborative, high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for teamwork.

• Prior experience in a game development discipline prior to transitioning into production, enabling a deeper understanding of developer workflows and cross-functional needs
