Senior Technical Audio Designer

NBCUniversal is looking for a Senior Technical Audio Designer with experience in AAA games to help shape the technical direction of an ambitious new entertainment project.

Responsibilities include strategizing, envisioning, and participating in hands-on implementation of high-level audio technical pipelines and systems; working closely with the Audio Director to develop, maintain, and document audio systems; and ensuring that technical sound design conventions within the project are optimized and followed.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a recognized audio-related program, or equivalent experience/training in music or sound. They should have more than 8 years of experience in audio within game development, with a focus on AAA open-world projects, and minimum 2 games shipped. Deep expertise in Unreal Engine and advanced Metasound knowledge is required, along with a demonstrated success in creating advanced audio systems and technical innovation.
