Job Description

The Vice President, Streaming Strategy & Growth, will serve as a strategic leader driving high-impact growth initiatives across NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. This executive role collaborates with senior leadership to shape strategic direction, uncover new business opportunities, evaluate partnership and investment opportunities, and support key corporate initiatives that enhance long-term competitive success. The VP will lead cross-functional teams to deliver analytically driven, actionable recommendations that drive organizational growth and market expansion.

The Vice President, Streaming Strategy & Growth is responsible for:

  • Lead long-range strategic planning processes, aligning growth priorities with broader business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, product/service extensions, and business model innovations.
  • Monitor industry, technology, consumer, and competitor trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Drive business development activities, collaborating closely with NBC News Group and Strategy Partnership teams on key initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop strategy and business development professionals; build a performance-oriented team.
  • Act as a thought leader and strategic advisor to executive leadership, influencing organizational priorities and investment decisions.
  • Oversee rigorous quantitative analysis and modeling that support business cases, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
  • Present clear, data-backed insights to senior leadership and cross-business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate impacts of new initiatives on business performance and risk profile.
  • Conduct trend analyses to understand performance of existing partnerships, uncovering opportunities for optimization
  • Champion AI evaluation and integration to accelerate the speed at which the team works while finding operational efficiencies that impact the bottom line
  • Partner closely with corporate units (e.g., content, distribution, marketing, finance), both internally and enterprise-wide, to ensure integrated execution of strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate alignment across key stakeholders to ensure strategic clarity and execution momentum.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, business development, corporate development, management consulting, or related roles — with exposure to media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience building financial and predictive models and conducting valuation and scenario analyses.
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives, commercial partnerships, or high-profile deals, as well as automating workflows.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive-level impact.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
