Food Science Innovation And Productivity Specialist

We are seeking a technically skilled food science professional to support our Design to Consumer Value initiatives. This role integrates technical feasibility, consumer science, and project management to transform early-stage ideas into actionable, cost-effective innovations. You will play a vital role in leading workshops, assessing feasibility, and developing a pipeline of productivity opportunities that directly enhance product value and margin.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops to foster innovation and productivity.
  • Evaluate early-stage concepts and guide them through feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and consumer science teams to validate ideas and optimize product design.
  • Support cost breakdowns and value assessments using consumer science tools, such as green line association.

Essential Skills:

  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis.
  • Experience in R&D and flavor science.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Confident and proactive personality.
  • Strong technical fluency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build dashboards and communicate insights clearly.
  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
