We are seeking an experienced Pressure Vessel Designer with strong 2D AutoCAD skills. This role plays a key part in supporting our engineering, design, and procurement teams, ensuring we deliver high-quality, compliant products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and perform ASME code calculations to ensure designs meet required standards.
• Create and update detailed drawing submittal packages and revisions for fabrication.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to support project success.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 and customer specifications.
• Provide technical expertise to continuously improve design processes and support future growth.

Qualifications

• Experience designing pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 standards.
• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and mechanical drafting principles.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting protocols and best practices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply customer specifications to designs.
• Knowledge of ASME code requirements (preferred).
• Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures related to pressure vessels and piping (preferred).
• Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, dependable work ethic, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
