Marketing Analytics Expert

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join our Strategic Analytics and Insights Sales team in Kazakhstan, based in Almaty. The Senior Business Partner will be responsible for selling Advanced Analytics solutions and Consumer Research products.
In this Senior Business Development role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of NielsenIQ's Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) business with key strategic local and regional clients in Kazakhstan and other central Asia countries, fostering profitable revenue expansion, and increasing awareness of the broader SA&I portfolio.
You will take ownership of key local and regional client relationships, leveraging your extensive knowledge of the FMCG industry and NielsenIQ's products and services. Your role will involve aligning customer priorities with NielsenIQ's capabilities, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to deepen commercial relationships and generate additional revenue. You will be cooperating closely with the sales executives' team, projects execution team, operation team, and data analytics teams internally and oversee the total sales process for market.
Responsibilities include:
- Take ownership of revenue generation, driving profitable growth for NielsenIQ (NIQ) Strategic Clients. Develop and execute strategic account sales plans, aligning with SA&I regional cluster leader, and ensure consistent performance through the management of sales pipelines, setting sales quotas, and providing monthly sales forecasts.
- Lead the renewal and negotiation of contracts while delivering revenue goals, maintaining a long-term growth focus.
- Continuously engage with key decision-makers, influence strategies, and drive sales opportunities to help clients achieve their objectives (identifying opportunities, running capability meetings, preparing proposals, negotiating proposals).
- Developing consumer insights business with new Clients: identifying needs, building relations, building awareness of research solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating.
- Building research awareness in and outside of the organization: presenting at conferences, client and internal events. Understands emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers; leverages understanding to expand relationships with own clients.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Cooperating with the execution and operations team.
- The person will be responsible for the sales target.
Qualifications include:
- 4+ years of experience in market research, advanced analytics and/or in other marketing&analytics services sales.
- Knowledge on consumer and shopper research methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Advantage of experience in working with FMCG, Retail or T&D.
- Building strong relations with Clients, strong communication and Client management skills.
- High Negotiation, Problem Solving & Communications Skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams.
- Skilled & polished communicator, including client presentations/events.
- Strategic thinking and vision.
- High say-do ratio.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft tools.
- Proficiency in English and Russian.
