Product Manager 2

As a Product Manager 2 on Nordstrom's Product Management Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by leveraging data-driven insights to deliver key features, functionality, and programs. You will collaborate across the organization to drive innovative solutions that solve real problems, anticipate customer needs, and exceed their expectations, thereby driving brand loyalty and improving financial performance.

As a member of the Marketing & Loyalty Product Management team, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience on iOS. You will wear many hats, jumping from conversations about user experience and data insights to operational efficiency in a single morning. You will work closely with your iOS Engineering squad to drive development, as well as with your product peers given the span of the squad. You'll be part of a team that works hard to engage and reward our customers and drive customer growth every day.

A day in the life...

  • Prioritization and Planning - Manage the product roadmap and feature backlog across many areas – Loyalty, Marketing, Nordstrom Media Network, Credit, Checkout, Post Purchase, Account, Sign In/Sign Up, and tech initiatives
  • Definition and Decomposition - Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurement plans
  • Collaboration and Influence - Collaborate across Product Management, Experience Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to create meaningful experiences for our customers
  • Drive Impact - Embed with the Engineering squad to drive progress against deliverables through day-to-day management of backlog, agile ceremonies and launch planning
  • Continuous Discovery and Insights - Monitor key KPI performance. Benchmark results and stay current with customer and market research to identify improvements and feature opportunities
  • Product Strategy and Vision - Contribute to a product vision that is aligned with company goals and business priorities and evangelize with your squad and key stakeholders

You own this if you have…

  • Experience: 3+ years of product management experience or equivalent; technology or ecommerce company background preferred
  • Customer Focus: Passion for understanding our customers, and creating experiences that help customers feel good and look their best
  • Technical Acumen: Basic technical background and understanding of software development principles, including Agile development and a/b testing methodologies
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to build relationships and drive results across Product, Analytics, Engineering, and User Experience
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organization
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Organization Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills

$121,500.00 - $188,500.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
