We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented leader to lead our Commercial Support Team. This role plays a critical part in driving profitability by aligning Sales, Operations, Production Control, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will oversee WIP and finished goods inventory, lead reporting efforts, validate rebates, analyze customer service performance, troubleshoot systems, and support new product commercialization—all while championing safety and continuous improvement.
Basic Job Functions:
- Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team with clear KPIs and performance development plans.
- Create and validate recurring dashboards and reports for sales, marketing, and inventory.
- Oversee commercial data including bookings, shipments, production schedules, coil purchases, inventory, and customer priorities.
- Validate and reconcile customer rebates; coordinate accruals with Finance.
- Troubleshoot reporting and system issues; collaborate with IT and vendors on fixes and enhancements.
- Conduct customer service surveys, analyze results, and implement corrective actions.
- Support the Sales Manager with projects, data analysis, new product launch, process improvements, and SOP/training documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience in the metals industry, preferably in commercial operations or sales support.
- Proven supervisory experience with a manager recommendation.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with D365 ERP and CRM systems; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of inventory and commercial processes (bookings, shipments, scheduling, coil purchasing, rebate reconciliation).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with a team while also excelling in independent decision-making and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with forecasting and predictive analytics
- Knowledge of steel tubing, distributor, and fabricator channels
- Understanding of macro/microeconomic trends
- Willingness to relocate within Nucor for future opportunities
