Nutanix is currently seeking a strategic and passionate marketer to join our team as the Industry Audience Marketing Manager in Japan. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape Nutanix's market leadership by driving growth within our most critical High Touch sales segments, including Finance, Manufacturing, and the Public Sector. Your Role

  • Collaborate closely with High Touch sales leaders to identify business priorities, target accounts, and target audiences to plan and execute ABM initiatives.
  • Own the pipeline targets for the High Touch segment and drive campaigns that convert engagement into measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead Customer Advocacy programs for Big Enterprise customers, taking full ownership of creating compelling case studies, securing customer speakers for flagship events, and building a strong reference network.
  • Drive strategic PR activities in Japan. Collaborate tightly with the APJ PR team and manage local PR agencies to maximize the market impact and visibility of our enterprise successes and solutions.
  • Plan and execute high-end, executive-focused engagements (e.g., CxO Roundtables, Customer Executive Summits) to build strong relationships with C-level and LOB decision-makers.
  • Act as a strategic orchestrator, aligning with MD, Sales leaders, and Event & Engagement teams to deliver customized Nutanix messaging to your target audience.
  • Measure campaign impact and evaluate ROI through Salesforce (SFDC) reporting, continuously optimizing the customer journey.

What You Will Bring (Experience & Skills)

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise marketing, field marketing, product marketing, enterprise sales, PR/Advocacy, or ABM.
  • Deep understanding of—or an incredibly strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn about—highly complex solutions relevant to Nutanix, such as HCI, Hybrid Multicloud, and Enterprise AI (e.g., GPT in a Box).
  • Maturity and seniority required to build immediate credibility and engage effectively with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of aligning with enterprise sales teams and directly committing to pipeline generation.
  • Experience in planning C-level engagement strategies and driving Customer Advocacy / PR activities (e.g., case studies, press releases, media relations) with large enterprise customers.
  • Writing and communication skills; ability to summarize important insights, executive summaries, or reports for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Understanding of ROMI and marketing funnels.
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
