L&D's mission is to prepare NYCHA employees for the roles they're in, and the roles they aspire to attain, while managing the wealth of knowledge that employees amass throughout their careers. The Learning and Development Department is seeking an innovative, driven, and solutions-oriented Instructional Designer & Training Coordinator with strong project coordination skills to support and manage learning and development initiatives. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and implementation of training programs that serve NYCHA employees across various departments. The ideal candidate is experienced in instructional design across multiple modalities, with a strong ability to manage cross-functional projects, coordinate stakeholders, and align training initiatives with NYCHA's organizational goals. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality learning experiences while also ensuring smooth project execution from initiation through completion.
