Regional Sales Manager Traction Safety Products
We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead sales growth and market expansion for our safety flooring and surface solutions. This role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and driving revenue across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public space sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in solution-based selling, channel management, and building product distribution within construction or related industries.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target verticals, including contractors, architects, facility managers, distributors, and end-users.
- Manage and grow relationships with distribution partners, dealer networks, and key accounts.
- Provide technical product expertise, safety compliance knowledge, and consultative support to clients during the specification and purchasing process.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultative sales conversations with decision-makers.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies and maximize opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams – including marketing, operations, and product development – to align customer needs with business initiatives.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations to build brand awareness and drive demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards relevant to flooring and surfacing solutions.
- Other duties as requested by the TSP supervisor or management staff.
Education, Work Experience, and Proficiencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-7 years of sales or business development experience in construction materials, flooring, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing a multi-state territory and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks, contract negotiation, and specification selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Achievement of quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Territory revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
