Product Manager For Retention

We're looking for an experienced product manager to lead retention efforts on the ChatGPT Growth Team. Your mission will be to help more people unlock meaningful value from ChatGPT – whether they're brand new or returning after time away – by designing intuitive early experiences and thoughtful systems that support ongoing, purposeful use.

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape how people around the world get daily value from AI.

In This Role, You Will:

• Own the end-to-end product experience for new user onboarding, engagement, and reengagement
• Use data, experimentation, and user research to identify high-leverage opportunities to deepen long-term retention
• Partner with engineering, design, and data science to design and ship features that help users quickly find value
• Explore and test new ways to encourage returning usage that aligns with user goals
• Define and build product systems that support multiple ChatGPT use cases

You Might Thrive In This Role If You:

• Have 6+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of improving user engagement or retention
• Are highly analytical and fluent in experimentation
• Have strong product sense and enjoy designing experiences that are intuitive and empowering
• Have worked on onboarding flows, engagement systems, or growth product infrastructure used across teams
• Are excited to shape a product area from 0→1 for a global and diverse user base
• Excel at working cross-functionally and collaborating with design, engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams
