Positions in this function are responsible for conducting training needs analysis for the business and developing all training materials, communications, and activities to meet the organization's job/role requirements. Involves conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of programs and recommending/implementing modifications, as necessary. May work with SMEs to obtain training content. Includes design and development of online and web-based training materials. Assist and partner with the Veteran Services (VS) Quality Support and Training Manager to update and enhance all areas of provider training.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role in the development of VS Quality Support materials and training modules
- Facilitate electronic, virtual and in-person training for practitioners in the VBA provider network
- Create and update reference materials and provider communications
- Evaluate training processes, tools and activities for effectiveness. Perform needs analysis and present improvement initiatives to Training Supervisor
- Work closely with other operational areas to develop required training
- Research and recommend new training techniques and training resources
- Draft, edit and distribute communications to the VBA provider network

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with online learning and e-learning content development and deployment
- 5+ years of experience working in an instructional design role
- 2+ years of experience conducting classroom training and/or seminar/workshop topics
- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, InDesign, SnagIt, Camtasia and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of training theories and principles, adult learning theory and educational pedagogy
- Proven ability to comprehend and interpret basic medical communication, language, and terminology
- Proven ability to effectively communicate complex information verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated decisiveness and flexibility to meet the needs of a growing organization
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drives for results individually and in a team setting
- Demonstrated excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Proven to take initiative in a goal-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience training in healthcare or sports medicine
- Experience utilizing project management techniques
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Leadership experience in a business setting and/or military experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $34.23 to $61.15 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
