Design Team Intern
Under the direction of the Senior Creative Director, the Design Team Intern provides basic support to the Creative Services team by assisting with file organization, shipping, office admin, and day-to-day project needs.
This role is intended for someone looking to gain exposure to a professional creative environment. The intern works under close direction from designers and team leaders and is primarily responsible for supporting ongoing projects rather than leading creative work.
Essential Duties
- Provide general support to help keep projects moving efficiently.
- Support designers and photographers with basic production tasks.
- Assist with order fulfillment, including packing and shipping printed materials.
- Help organize and maintain files, assets, and project folders.
- Help keep inventory of printed materials and supplies organized.
- Assist with organizing shared spaces such as the kitchen and common areas.
- Attend team meetings and take notes when needed.
Qualification
Education and/or Experience
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed a degree in, graphic design, photography, communications, or a related field
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Proficient user of Mac OS
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Interpersonal skills necessary to form effective relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and comply with company policies and procedures
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the office and production areas
- Ability to lift, carry, pack, and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle office supplies, packaging materials, and computer equipment
- Visual ability to review design materials, printed assets, and digital files
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and over the phone
- Ability to occasionally assist with shipping, organizing inventory, and maintaining shared workspaces

Additional Information
This will be a part time job with up to 20 hours per week maximum.
Pay Range- $15- $20
