Head Of Marketing For Greater China

Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Head of Marketing for Greater China to join our GC organization, drive our regional marketing strategy, and manage the marketing team.

This role is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for GC, in line with the business priorities and objectives of establishing market leadership, driving demand, expanding market share, and accelerating revenue growth for the GC market.

In this role, you will have a key focus to work with stakeholders across the company to fuel awareness, drive executives' engagement and create demand for Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Your responsibilities will include collaboration with the GC sales team and cross-functional teams to create and implement impactful and integrated marketing strategies, customized for the top accounts and priority industry verticals in GC.

You will also establish clear goals and KPIs and track ROI for account/ industry-specific marketing initiatives.

This position will report to the Sr Director of JAPAC Channel-Field Marketing, and presents a great opportunity for a talented individual with the desire to be part of a fast-growing company in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Your Impact

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy, aligning with the country business plan and leveraging data insights.
  • Drive pipeline growth across Enterprise and Named Accounts through integrated marketing programs designed to influence and accelerate opportunities within priority verticals
  • Design tailored experiences, including white-glove and micro experiences personalized to the preferences and needs of C-suite customers
  • Partner with BDR team to align, discover and deploy top-performing tactics to create, develop, and close qualified leads and opportunities, and communicate program status, action items, results reporting, and deliverables across marketing and sales
  • Collaborate with the channel marketing team to map joint ABM efforts with key partner strategies
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI
  • Ownership and communication of clear program timeline, status, action items, results, and deliverables across stakeholders
  • Champion an AI-first GTM approach, using AI-driven insights and automation to enhance targeting, personalization, and scalability across campaigns
  • Ensuring brand consistency and integrated storytelling across all marketing activities, amplifying our value proposition through field, partner, PR and ecosystem channels.
  • Collaborating with regional marketing teams to localize global programs and best practices that fit the local market context and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Proven people leadership experience within Greater China is mandatory. Broader cross-regional management experience across Asia or JAPAC is highly preferred
  • 10+ years in a field, channel, demand-generation, or campaign marketing role, preferably in the B2B high tech/ IT/ cybersecurity industry
  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands of a high-growth environment
  • Comfortable making strategic marketing and investment recommendations and influencing stakeholders, ability to provide consultative input to senior sales leaders
  • Experience owning and executing integrated marketing plans and programs with an understanding of marketing mix performance that are mapped to business goals, and with demonstrated success in building pipeline and revenue impact
  • Strong experience and enthusiasm for leading and partnering with sale, cross-functional teams, external vendors and agencies
  • Data-driven mindset - Hands-on experience in using data insights to plan, analyse, track and report on campaigns ROI and conversion
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to automate, personalize, and scale marketing activities is highly desirable
  • Experience driving account-based marketing (ABM) or vertical-focused programs in collaboration with sales and partners
  • Hands-on experience with managing events and trade shows, with a deep understanding of event planning from strategy, budgeting, execution and following through
  • Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to work on what needs to get done - list uploads, creative projects, data cleaning etc
