General Summary

At TrainingPeaks, we build software that empowers endurance athletes and coaches to achieve peak performance. As an Associate Product Manager, you'll play an important role in shaping the future of our athlete and coach experiences. On a daily basis, you'll be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, from research and ideation to launch and iteration. You'll help bring innovative, high-impact features to life that our users love, while gaining hands-on experience and building your product management skillset.

In this entry-level role, you'll report to the Manager, Product Management and work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams in Design, Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Customer Success to bring impactful features to market.

Core Functions:

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather user feedback to identify customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  • Feature Development: Assist in defining product requirements, writing clear and concise user stories, and prioritizing features for development.
  • Product Testing: Participate in testing new features to ensure they meet quality standards and provide a great user experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Analyze product performance metrics and user data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Communication: Serve as a key communication bridge between stakeholders and the product team, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.

General Support: Support the Product Manager in day-to-day tasks, including gathering and analyzing product data, consumer research, and preparing reports and presentations.
