The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and ambitious Instructional Designer to facilitate growth in the college's instruction, research, and outreach missions.
As a new position on our Instructional Design team, the Instructional Designer will collaborate with faculty to design and develop new in-person, hybrid, and online courses, as well as maintain and revise existing courses. This is an exciting opportunity to serve in an active role to contribute directly to successful learning outcomes of the best nurses and nurse leaders in the country by building educational programming and advancement of nursing education throughout the college, the commonwealth, and beyond.
This position is based at Penn State's University Park campus with a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote and regular on-campus work. The Instructional Designer will work on multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing multi-tasking and creative thinking skills, to complete this position's responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
Various software will be used to complete the above responsibilities, including Canvas, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and Evolution (the Penn State World Campus content management system). The Instructional Designer will also utilize best-practices for instructional design and effective communication to meet the objectives of their projects and tasks.

Salary & Benefits: The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $81,500.00.
