Marketing/Communications Specialist

The Marketing/Communications Specialist employs a variety of marketing, communications, and public relations strategies; researches and translates various forms of subject matter to produce content for social media, articles, digital signage, and other internal or external communications; participates in the planning of marketing and/or communications strategy; creates, conceptualizes, edits, implements, and enhances communications and content including website, advertisements, articles, and feature stories.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
