Job Title

Guiltinan-Maximova Lab in the Department of Plant Sciences is seeking a part time student plant growth and research assistant.

Job Description and Position Requirements

Duties include:

• Cacao tree growth support, trimming, and maintenance of greenhouses
• Fertilizer creation and management
• pH and conductivity testing
• Sanitation of greenhouse and greenhouse media
• Pest monitoring and IPM practices
• Aid in project development that includes tasks such as propagation, growth room designing, media preparation, and shipping plant material.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
