Design Manager

Our Global Corporate Digital Design team defines how PepsiCo appears across owned social channels, corporate platforms, and digital experiences—where brand, culture, and performance intersect.
We're looking for a Design Manager to lead digital-first, motion-led storytelling across PepsiCo's Corporate global social and web platforms, based in New York City.
This is a senior, hands-on creative role for a motion-driven designer with 7+ years of experience building high-performing social and digital content. You will lead concept through execution while elevating craft, mentoring creatives, and ensuring brand consistency at enterprise scale. In this role, you'll help shape how the world sees PepsiCo — from our iconic brands to the people behind them — and the bold moves we're making for the planet and our communities.
You'll partner closely with the Global Communications and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into impactful, measurable digital storytelling.
Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Execution
- Lead end-to-end creative development for global social and web content
- Create platform-native motion assets including static graphics, animated systems, reels, and campaign content
- Build scalable templates, toolkits, and motion and digital guidelines
- Elevate typography, storytelling, and visual systems across all outputs
Strategy & Performance Integration
- Translate communications strategy into engaging digital ecosystems
- Use analytics and performance insights to refine and optimize creative
- Identify emerging trends and activate quickly with culturally relevant content
- Align creative output with enterprise KPIs
Operational Excellence
- Manage integrated timelines across digital, social, print, events, and media projects to ensure cohesive execution.
- Streamline internal workflows to scale in-house digital content production efficiently.
- Maintain governance standards across file management, digital production workflows, and asset delivery systems.
- Partner with global communications and agency teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Provide art direction and narrative guidance to external partners when required.
- Present creative concepts and playbooks to executive stakeholders with clear strategic rationale.
- Mentor designers and creative contributors to strengthen team capability
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in digital and motion design for global brands, agencies, or digital editorial platforms.
- Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator); strong proficiency in Figma and responsive digital systems.
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics and video editing workflows
- Knowledge of UI/UX fundamentals and platform-native content behaviors
- Deep understanding of typography, layout systems, and digital storytelling
- Deep understanding of global social platforms and best practices.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-channel projects in fast-paced environments.
- Experience mentoring creatives and leading small teams or project pods.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of 3D rendering tools and emerging creative technologies is a plus.
