PepsiCo Design Sr. Manager, Global Licensing And Merchandise

The PepsiCo Design Sr. Manager, Global Licensing and Merchandise is a multidisciplinary role that will lead design and production of lifestyle product for our food and beverage brands.

Responsibilities

This role will not just design, but also architect the visual identity of PepsiCo branded lifestyle product in partnership with internal stakeholders across Brand Design, Marketing, and Business functions. This means planning and applying consistent design principles and production processes to ensure strategic goals with quality and efficiency. Oversight includes three lines of business: Licensing, Partnerships/Collaborations, and Premiums.

  • Define the visual identity for PepsiCo branded lifestyle product with crossfunctional teams.
  • Digest product briefs to create assortment plans and design directions while hitting target costs.
  • Captain the entire development process from concept and sampling to production and delivery.
  • Manage agencies and direct vendors, guide key decisions around sampling, costing, and execution.
  • Build direct supplier base across lifestyle categories, leveraging existing relationships and network.
  • Oversee freelance workflow, budget, and feedback cycles by project.
  • Provide feedback and design approvals for high visibility licensed goods.
  • Partner with Licensing to create custom pitches for prospective licensees and collaborators.
  • Offer thought partnership on partnerships, activations, and product.
  • Organize team resources and priorities to manage simultaneous launches across the portfolio.
  • Serve as an expert voice of fashion, culture, and trend for PepsiCo design.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of cross-category apparel design and development expertise.
  • Knowledge of other accessories categories (leather goods, footwear, jewelry, home, etc.)
  • Ability to direct concept, material, and graphics across categories.
  • Design Degree or Apprenticeships to supplement on-job training.
  • Strongly-tapped into culture across runway, streetwear, beauty, and sports trends.
  • Strong skills in technical design programs knowledge (i.e. Adobe, CAD).
  • Global design experience across international markets a plus.
  • Experience in navigating both large corporate environments and start-ups a plus.
