Marketing Coordinator Bilingual

The Marketing Coordinator Program at VML is a global community of about 600 employees located at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agency teams.

We coordinate campaigns between internal stakeholders of Microsoft, the Global Service Center VML teams, and third-party agencies.

The Consumer discipline is a group of expertise within the MC Program responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of global and local demand generation and engagement activities for Microsoft, focused on the consumer segment.

The objective of the position is to support the planning and execution of Microsoft activities, such as digital and in-store content marketing, BTL (Below-the-Line) campaigns, or partner activities, which lead to engagement with Microsoft's consumer products, such as Surface, Xbox, or Windows.

In this role, the MC Consumer acts primarily as the single point of contact for the localization and execution of consumer marketing content, as well as the project manager who coordinates VML internal resources, Microsoft stakeholders, and third-party vendors (e.g., creative agencies and media).

Responsibilities:

Marketing Impact

  • Helps develop projects and campaign plans
  • Executes BTL or partner campaigns supporting consumer products
  • Executes all activities to ensure consistent marketing across categories and channels

Campaign Coordination & Project Management

  • Acts as Project Manager for the execution of activities and results
  • Coordinates all parties involved in an activity – VML, Microsoft stakeholders, and third parties

Localization of Files

  • Responsible for reviewing the localization of marketing support files
  • Acts as the guardian of content for all marketing content requiring translation review and approval
  • Evaluates if the content and messages are appropriate for the market

Stakeholder Management

  • Advises stakeholders on the execution processes of activities, KPIs, deployment of tools and services
  • Acts as an advisor on consumer marketing tools and services

Skills and Qualifications Required (Entry Level: L2):

  • Ideally, studies completed in a field related to marketing
  • Broad understanding of different marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics, including marketing channels
  • 2+ years of experience in executing marketing-related initiatives, including 1+ year of experience with target audience segmentation, measuring campaign success, project manager or account manager role
  • High level of compliance with company rules and processes, e.g., protection of personal data or brand guidelines
  • Proven project management skills, willingness to take responsibility for own KPIs, track activity progress, and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong skills in Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to share often complex information in a structured manner
  • Fluency in client and third-party stakeholder relations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, and ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks
  • Strong team spirit with the ability to build working relationships with culturally diverse internal and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation
  • Proficiency in English is essential (requirements for additional language skills may apply)
