Graphic Coordinator

The Graphic Coordinator plays a critical role in the pre-press and production process, bridging the gap between sales, design, and manufacturing. This position is responsible for managing all graphic-related tasks for corrugated packaging projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion from initial concept through final production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design principles, printing processes and the unique challenges of printing on corrugated substrates.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all graphic-related inquiries from sales, design, and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain detailed project records, including artwork files, revisions, proofs, and approvals.
• Proactively communicate project status, potential issues, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Receive, review, and process customer-supplied artwork to ensure it meets pre-press specifications and print requirements for corrugated board.
• Work closely with the design team to develop new graphics and refine existing designs to optimize for corrugated printing.
• Liaise with customers, sales representatives, and vendors to resolve artwork issues and secure final approvals.
• Participate in production meetings to provide updates and insights on graphic projects

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a graphic coordination, pre-press, or production role, preferably within the packaging, printing, or corrugated industry.
• Proven experience with flexographic printing processes and the unique challenges of printing on corrugated materials.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs/Microsoft Word.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk the production floor, and talk or hear.
• The employee occasionally is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Performance Measurements

• Operating standards - the employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the employee.
• Personal growth - while the company will provide the tools to assist the employee to grow professionally the responsibility for moving forward lies with the individual. Each year there will be goals developed and agreed to by the employee and his/her supervisor.
