Outbound Sales / Telemarketing Specialist

An Outbound Sales / Telemarketing Specialist is needed for a company in Yorba Linda, CA that sells communication products to businesses. The Outbound Sales / Telemarketing Specialist is responsible for contacting, qualifying, and canvassing prospective customers by telephone. Temporary to hire position, with full-time hours; 8 AM - 5 PM, Mon-Fri. This is an ONSITE position that pays $20-25/hr depending on experience. Once hired on, the company offers benefits and a commission program in addition to the hourly pay.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate is experienced generating target lists to work from and making a high volume of daily cold calls to net new client prospects; discuss the company’s products and ultimately set appointment meetings for the sales people.
• Notating all call activity in the system.
• Some follow-up to be done by email.
• Other duties may be assigned related to pre-sales, sales, or marketing, as needed, including campaigns.
• Manage to preset KPI’s with regard to telephone cold call volume, set meetings volume, and other criteria, as set forth by the company.

Requirements:

• Min 2 years current or prior telemarketing experience in a call center is a MUST
• Professional, articulate and enjoys telemarketing
• Basic computer skills with accurate typing min 30 wpm
• Good verbal and written communication skills and comfortable with consistent phone communication
• Ability to follow verbal or written directions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
